Job Description Summary
In this unique role, you will have an opportunity to apply and grow your engineering and leadership skills. As the Installed Base Program Manager, you will have an opportunity to lead a small but high functioning team of hardware and software engineers and interface with cross-functional teams to drive programs for the large installed base of GE Healthcare bone density and body composition measurement devices. As Mechanical Architect, you will help lead the mechanical design and development of new innovative technological solutions for a market leading DXA product line.

Lead a small but high functioning team of hardware and software engineers and interface with cross-functional teams to drive customer focused design change and cost improvement initiatives for installed base
Define, develop, and drive engineering solutions in a lean/agile environment
Design robust hardware system architectures that align with NPI multi-generational hardware platform
Interact with global teams across GE Healthcare to maximize synergies across common hardware platforms
Interface with suppliers for NPIs, SCRs, and component EOL activities
Provide technical support for DXA products to field and factory
Champion product quality initiatives
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related Engineering/Science discipline
Medical device design and development experience
Minimum of 7 years relevant project leadership experience
Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional project teams and an ability to drive project plans to completion satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget requirements
Experience with sheet metal, casting, machining, and plastic component design
Creo or SolidWorks CAD modeling experience
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Demonstrated experience on global product releases throughout the entire New Product Introduction cycle
Demonstrated LEAN skills and working knowledge of Scaled Agile
PMP (Project Management Professional) certified
