Role Summary:

Materials Planning & Execution Spec

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Reviews manufacturing requirements, methods, time schedules, and costsfor a jobto determines what tools/fixtures are necessary to manufactureand assembleproducts.

  • Utilizes computer software to recordrecommendations for productionguidelines.

  • Makes recommendations toimprove tool application and related costs.

  • Handles special projects, asassigned.


  • Knowledge of mathematics sufficient to perform trigonometry.

  • Proficientinmachining process and practices.

  • Expert product knowledge andmanufacturingtechniques.

  • Ability to communicate all levels inside andoutside theorganization.

Desired Characteristics:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of machine shop

  • experience,a portionof which in a lead or journeyman capacity.
