Job Description Summary
As an Airfoils Lead Engineer in the Turbofan Turbojet Cold Section design organization, you will be responsible for the team’s airfoils design efforts supporting the U.S. Navy customer, as well as numerous commercial and foreign military customers. Your responsibilities may include: Managing and executing U.S. Navy Component Improvement Programs, providing field support and manufacturing dispositions, leading new product introductions (NPI), and evaluating new engine applications for the fan and compressor module.

Roles and Responsibilities
Managing and executing U.S. Navy Component Improvement Programs, leading new product introductions (NPI), and evaluating new engine applications for the fan and compressor module
Design ownership and responsibility for Turbofan and Turbojet fan and compressor airfoils hardware, such as vanes, blades, blisks, and shrouds
Component, module, or systems level analysis and hardware expertise utilizing tools such as Unigraphics and ANSYS
Coordination and completion of technical and program reviews with senior leadership teams
Ability to execute complex projects, while managing program schedule and financial workscope to meet business needs
Experience influencing, coordinating and leading teams toward complex goals
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
3+ years of experience in an aerospace or engineering position
4+ years of experience in an aerospace or engineering position
1+ years of prior experience working in airfoils hardware design
Airfoils MRB certification
Export tagger certification
Experience working on F414/F404 cold section hardware
Experience working with global teams
