Job Description Summary
This is a Quality Engineering for the Part to Print team. This role is a key member of the team completing cell deep dives in the Lynn Component Manufacturing shops. The QE will lead reviews on characteristic accountability and related part inspections, review of inspection methodology and accuracy and apply improvements as identified. You will manage conformance reviews and develop improvements as necessary, while also recording of data electronically.
Review part history & any open actions (prior change in design records, nonconformance and escape data, audit findings, first article data)
Complete characteristic accountability, identify unaccounted for characteristics and measure parts to verify conformance
Populate FAI Data from Existing Data & coordinate completion of FAI Data
Review manufacturing processes to verify process meets work instructions, suggest improvements where identified
Review and verify procedural compliance
Implement electronic data collection
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Quality or Manufacturing
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
