General Electric Production Supervisor - Second Shift in Lynn, Massachusetts

Job Description Summary

Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies. This is a Second -shift role.

Job Description

  • Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees​

  • Typicallymanaging hourly employee populations

  • Developsnew solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations

  • Workstogether with business leadership at Directorial and Executive level

  • Specifiesneeds, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done

  • Deliversproducts as part of a team

  • Workson cross functional teams Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

  • Ability to work Second shift hours. Monday - Friday 2pm - 11pm with the occasional Saturday ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT : This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
