Job Description Summary
The Production Quality Specialist will support the Logistics team and be responsible for product quality as it relates to the shipping and receiving process.
Roles and Responsibilities
Determine root cause and corrective actions for product quality within the logistics process
Lead process improvement projects for transactional logistics processes
Manage and maintain audit schedule
Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control
Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes
Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.
Collaborate with team members to support internal and external customers
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in logistics, manufacturing and/or quality)
A minimum of 3 years experience in logistics, manufacturing and/or quality
Logistics or quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Process improvement experience
Experience in a customer facing r
Ability to evaluate and improve transactional processes
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Drives results and change through collaboration and relationship management
Effective problem identification and solution skills
