General Electric Lead Manufacturing Specialist - Material Plan & Execution in Lynn, Massachusetts
Job Description Summary
The Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers according to production schedules. You will plan and schedule material and production needs and impact departmental operations. You will ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. This role will support schedule alignment of material into and ship level schedules out of an internal component manufacturing shop in support of assembly and spares customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
Optimize inventory and process improvements
Utilize prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy
Resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution (OR a High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in materials, production planning, sourcing, or supply chain operations)
A minimum of 3 years in materials, production planning, sourcing, or supply chain operations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
