Job Description Summary
Act as the Project Manager leading part source changes from GE Lynn Component Manufacturing (LCM) to external suppliers or other GE shops.
Roles and Responsibilities
Act as the primary focal for timely part transitions to new sources including GE knowledge transfer to the new manufacturer, raw material and tooling allocation, and overlap planning.
Track and drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and subsequent FAI and SPS approval timing through regular meeting rhythms with the new manufacturer.
Collaborate with the LCM shop, Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing Programs to break bottlenecks and align on priorities for the business.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Manufacturing or Project Management)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing.
Established project management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Manufacturing/Technical aptitude and familiarity with GEA part approval process.
Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to tackle new challenges and share process improvements with the team.
