General Electric Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Lynn, Massachusetts
Job Description Summary
As the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations/standards in a Special Access Program (SAP) facility. You will be responsible for the adherence to the Joint Special Access Implementation Guide (JSIG), as well as the DoD Implementation guide for the Risk Management Framework (RMF). You will oversee the execution of daily security and cyber security activities. You will work with the Approving Official to write and maintain all documentation required for Systems Authorization to maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO).
In this role you will:
Serve as one of the approving authorities for user account creation, deletion, locking, unlocking, and disabling of SAP user accounts.
Provide guidance and training ensuring user awareness concerning unauthorized or illegal use of computer hardware and software.
Participate in cyber security meetings with internal and external customers.
Interface with government representatives, as necessary.
Operate and maintain a document control system and conduct annual inventories.
Operate and maintain a visitor control program including processing incoming and outgoing visit certifications, visitor reception, and escort.
Must be a US citizen
Current/Active DOD Secret clearance (adjudicated within the last six years) and the ability to obtain and maintain up to TS/SCI
Must have a current 8570 certification commensurate with an IAM I (ISC-CAP; SANS-GSLC; or CompTIA Security +).
Prior experience using various operating system and other utilities and resources such as STIG / SCAP / SPLUNK / MS LogParser and others to properly configure, monitor and review systems and networks.
Previous Information Assurance (IA) experience.
Bachelor's degree with minimum of 4 years’ experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Engineering or HS Diploma with minimum of 7 years of experience in RMF for DoD security programs in lieu of degree.
Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Previous SAP or SCI experience preferred
Proven ability to work in a high tempo environment and manage work under pressure.
Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strong organizational and customer service skills.
Ability to create and maintain project documentation.
