General Electric Growth Playbook Finance Leader in Lynn, Massachusetts

Role Summary:

In partnership with Plant Leaders, Growth Playbook Leader, and General Manager, the role of Growth Playbook Finance Leader will manage the financial assessment and analysis of strategic initiatives / objectives and champion business behaviors to achieve them.

Essential Responsibilities:

Additionally, as the Growth Playbook Finance Leader, key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively build and maintain flexible business models to evaluate the financial potential and return of strategic plans

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with the team, provide / oversee decision support, assess support requirements

  • Participate in vendor meetings and business reviews

  • Conduct regular financial performance and forecast reviews

  • Assist plant leaders with forecast / plans by providing analysis around initiatives that impact their sites

  • Own and maintain data analysis and reporting tool for communication of performance

  • Drive consistency and process across the financials for initiatives and ensure business case financial assumptions are well documented, are reviewed for reasonableness, and aligned with all parties

  • Drive to ensure process is followed especially as it relates to:

  • Demand

  • Capacity

  • Product cost

  • CAPEX

  • and incremental expenses

  • Assist in the annual planning & monthly forecasting processes

  • Ensure plans and forecasts are aligned with strategic direction

  • Ensure compliance to planning calendar timelines

  • Ensure teams have spending plans / forecasts in line with annual budget

  • Lead planning / forecasting of strategic initiatives

  • Provide analysis of plans / forecasts to management team

  • Support functional finance initiatives (as needed)

  • Perform other duties as assigned, including participation in regular / periodic finance meetings and activities to communicate key trends, opportunities and risks, as well as to foster a strong and cohesive Finance organization Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance - Manufacturing Operations ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):
