General Electric Brand Manager, PDx Americas in Lynn, Massachusetts

Job Description Summary

GE Healthcare has a new opportunity for a Brand Manager for Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx), Americas. This position will develop the strategy to communicate the value of GE’s broad portfolio of diagnostic products. In this role, you will lead the development of marketing strategy, execution of marketing plans, identification of opportunities for growth and insights into market trends for the PDx portfolio, as well as delivery technologies, such as CT Motion™.

The PDx business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the PDx portfolio of diagnostic products and technologies, including CT Motion

  • Effectively partner with leaders across the business to translate business objectives and market opportunities into a formal, cohesive go-to-market architecture that differentiates service portfolio positioning and achieves revenue growth targets.

  • Build brand strategy and marketing campaigns that increase customer awareness and grow utilization, inclusive of detailed marketing communications and sales enablement architecture that delivers key positioning strategy via both inbound and outbound marketing channels

  • Capture “Voice of the Customer” and market insights to create and validate value propositions and messaging and identify unmet clinical and business needs

  • Oversee marketing budget, making trade off decisions regarding the marketing mix, and ensure all marketing programs and campaigns support overall plan and are executed effectively with a strong ROI and within budget

  • Partner with sales and sales leadership team to understand commercial challenges and provide/adapt strategies, tools, training, and messages to drive success

  • Drive KOL engagement strategy and cultivate strong relationships with thought leaders that lead to advocacy, while also championing customer education programs and events that include educational symposia, webinars and in-service CEU programs and speaker programs

  • Lead competitive market analysis/dynamics, including marketing communication tactics, messaging, acquisition and field intelligence, and assess potential impact to Americas PDx business.Develop strategies to continue to differentiate messaging in the market on a continual basis, taking into account competitive shifts in the market.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 6+ years of related experience

Desired Characteristics

  • MBA in Marketing or related field

  • Healthcare product/industry acumen,Diagnostic imaging and/or Pharmaceutical Imaging Agents preferred

  • Proven track record in the development and execution of market strategies that yield high performance results

  • Proficiency in development of marketing collateral and healthcare provider education and experience with the Advertising and Promotional Review.

  • Experience leading cross functional teams and the ability to influence across the organization
