As the Operations Leader, National Accounts and Specialty Channels you will be required to ensure delivery of strategic growth plan, lean methodology and operational rigor for National Accounts and Specialty Channels.

Cultivate partnerships with National Accounts and Specialty Channels leaders and their teams to build consistent strategies focused on commercial process improvements to reduce inefficiencies, create growth playbooks, enable cross organization learning and support overall growth plan.

Job Description


  • Develop the communication plan, operating mechanisms, data reports and metrics to support key business imperatives focused on improving efficiency and the quality of commercial processes

  • Establish, maintain reliable and collaborative relationships across a cross functional environment with commercial operations, field resources, sales executives and global modality teams

  • Lead & assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements focused on simplifying commercial processes impacting funnel management, orders performance & revenue execution within the business

  • Assist in analytics related to overall business planning and business development focused on execution of operating plans, modality market performance metrics & business performance

  • Lead a team of program managers and analysts to ensure we deliver on customer experience, operational excellence and overall growth for our business

  • Develop, drive, and track comprehensive fulfillment plans to meet customer requests while delivering business revenue commitments

  • Leads business development planning processes for the National Accounts and Specialty Channels team, including analytics to drive annual operating plan implementation, account or market coverage strategies and collaborating with modalities on growth opportunities

  • Execution of S&OP process, improve forecast accuracy and inventory turn performance, utilize strong analytics, ensure linkage for NPIs and transfers


  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years’ experience in sales, management and or operations OR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of 6 years of financial or operational work experience or High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 10 years financial or operational work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business reviews

  • Experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Masters’ degree in Business Administration

  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

  • Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas

  • Leadership experience: has two years’ experience leading team members balancing execution through others with inclusiveness, leveraging expertise, clear thinking, imagination, and external focus.

  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing

  • Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position

  • Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects and process improvement within the operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas.

  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment and leveraging other functions to enable team success

  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations

  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others

  • Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP

  • Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma

  • Ability to translate strategy into business objectives

  • Coaching and mentoring experience
