Job Description Summary

The Biomed modality forms a key strategic direction of the business. The successful candidate will drive the visibility and direction of the modality, ultimately supporting growth. This person is responsible for accurately recording information relating to the evaluation, diagnosis and performing repair and planned maintenance execution, and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Proactively support internal and external customers handling all assigned administrative duties, taking direction from and balancing the needs of Biomed Technicians and Biomed Team Leaders.

• Provide administrative support while maintaining and improving the data quality through the entry of Technician activities into the relevant CMS tool.

• Maintain daily communications with customers as directed, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction. As instructed, implement GE/customer facility contract, supporting business goals and objectives.

• May assist more experienced technicians on basic and more complex repairs/resolution respectively. Work as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum of an HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electronics or Biomedical engineering

Desirable skills

• Strong customer-service skills

• Highly motivated team-player

• Prior industry related experience

• Ability to stay calm in pressurized situations and coach people through solving problems

• Ability to drive improvements in efficiency

• Knowledge/experience with the healthcare industry

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excellent computer skills, Networking ability

• A good level of English and a valid Work Permit
