Job Description Summary
Design and delivery of the full spectrum of talent recruitment activities, from research and sourcing, through interview and offer, and all of the operational and administrative work associated with those activities in the GED EMEA region (1,200 headcount & $500MM in orders) . Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Leads a team and applies continuous improvement to develop standard work, track & manage clearly defined goals and report & mitigate risks where needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead & manage team responsible for researching, sourcing, evaluating and selecting talent at all levels. Includes those who manage sourcing and recruiting teams within a shared service center, as well as those in Businesses who lead the broad spectrum of Talent Recruitment work for GE Digital.
Will also have their own job requisition load to manage/ fill, acting as a player-coach.
Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
Bring expertise in tech industry recruitment and aware of competition, policies, strategy in tech recruitment.
Develop and build a team in alignment with GE Digital’s hiring strategy & open to flex as demand changes over time.
Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Apply standard work in defining, measuring, reporting & resolving performance via Key Performance Indicator metrics for the function. Build standard work with learning & lessons learned over time. Must be confident in explaining data/ using data to drive improvement in standards
Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Human Resources & Sourcing and Recruiting. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
Relevant experience leading a global team in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
Eager to learn with hands on experience and owning critical requisitions first-hand.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and lead programs / projects.
