General Electric Lead Systems Engineer in Logan, Utah
Role Summary:This is a cross-functional role that will consider technical needs of the business to implement quality solutions in supporting the initiatives for paperless manufacturing, engaging site staff in digital initiatives, and other IT productivity initiatives. Design and optimize requirements to define the system and verify that requirements are executed from concept to operation, requiring comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles.
Builds and integrates information systems to meet the company’s needs.
Manages all activities spanning multiple systems applications and processes, concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance.
Assists with validation and verification activities for the overall product, including system level testing.
Defines product requirements for the module / component teams.
Manages interface between the business and performing organization.
Drives CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components. Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system (manages the how).
Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
Communicates across direct organization.
Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.
Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback.
Manages external vendors; interfaces directly with Clients.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science; Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering; or related technical field; OR four years of relevant technical work experience.
Additional 4 years relevant technical work experience.
Experience supporting Supply Chain processes and programs
Understanding of IT/Engineering architecture
Strong technical foundation and experience in Business Intelligence, IoT, data visualization and analytics,
Previous Project and product management
Candidates should note that this role will be in scope for the proposed transition of GE Biopharma to Danaher and will transfer to Danaher at close of this transaction.

Familiarity with ERP (Oracle) and MES systems
Demonstrated knowledge of the Supply Chain process wing to wing with strong working experience in industry.
