General Electric Global Pricing and Analytics Manager in Logan, Utah

Role Summary:

The Pricing & Analytics Manager is responsible for providing cross-functional support to develop & execute on pricing strategies & manage the overall quotations process for Cell Culture products.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop & implement analytic tools to evaluate the impact on product volume & profitability, and identify pricing actions to help drive business growth. Work with Product Managers to define and implement key pricing policies & strategies, including the development of value-based market prices for products across their life cycle.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

•Facilitate value-based pricing programs collaborating with Marketing Leaders/Product Management, Finance Leaders and Global Sourcing across the Upstream business unit.

•Perform data analysis to support ad hoc pricing projects; identify and share pricing related insights and results to drive action plans for sustainable profitable growth.

•Support New Product Introduction (NPI) pricing analysis and new product launch activities.

•Provide financial modeling of deals considering the total business profitability.

•Drive the development of digital tools leading to more robust deal decisions, faster customer response times and improved overall business results.

•Managing product specific targets with the Commercial / Sales and Product Management teams to achieve overall goals for price, volume & growth.

•Driving compliant analysis that provides an understanding of how GE’s price and product portfolio compares to key competitors; integrate with win-loss analysis for lessons learned.

•Manage list prices for the Cell Culture product portfolio.

•Drive changes and process improvements, provide regional commercial teams with additional support as required, and help drive improved opportunity win rates.

•Manage analytics and reports as needed by the Product Management Team to make effective

business decisions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s Degree in or Finance, Statistics, Marketing or related discipline

2.3+ years of experience in pricing, marketing, finance or a related field

3.Demonstrated skill to clearly analyze financial proposals, generate alternatives and provide

negotiation support

4.Successfully lead cross-functional projects/process improvements

5.Demonstrated ability to understand market dynamics and successfully counsel Sales teams to

win and grow volume while optimizing price / margin.

6.Excellent verbal and written skills

Desired Characteristics:

1.Master’s Degree in Business/Finance and Corporate Audit Staff

2.5+ years’ experience in pricing, marketing, finance or a related field

3.Strong track record of working collaboratively to tackle cross-functional issues

4.Demonstrated analytical and statistical problem-solving skills

5.Excellent Communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive

level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to

understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.

6.Proven record of accomplishment of establishing and managing project plans, adjusting to

changing circumstances. Prioritizes and effectively controls key milestones.

7.In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes

8.Effective at building relationships across the organization

9.Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills

10.Team oriented – ability work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

11.Healthcare industry experience with industry knowledge of competitive pricing levels
