In this role you will be the leader of a great team of Quality Engineers (Production- & Supplier-QE´s) fulfilling highest quality standards, reporting directly to the Quality Site Leader, joining GE Additives new Manufacturing & Technology site in Lichtenfels – the 3D Campus. The Lichtenfels 3D Campus is worldwide the main machine production site for 3D powder bed metal printers within GE Additive and is also famous for highest safety, quality & environmental standards; furthermore great people, very good team spirit and awesome technologies. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead Production, Supplier Quality Engineers, MRB & calibration management

• Responsible for execution of all tasks related to Production and Supplier Quality engineering. Examples: perform supplier qualifications, perform supplier audits, manage Non-Conformities, perform internal audits, drive compliance to standard work, lead root cause analysis for supplier and production issues, create sample inspection plans, set action plans to reduce defects based on data analysis

• Drive prioritized projects to raise the quality standards to improve our customer experience

• Create/update standard work to develop systematic solutions that stick

• Support site daily management and ensure timely resolution of escalated issues

• Collaborate with Engineering, Services, Production, Sales and Sourcing teams to set us for success

• Ensure compliance to Quality Management System requirements

• Data /analytical driven mindset

• preparation of our Quality KPI´s and manage SPC

Required Qualifications

• Technical studies in the field of Engineering or a comparable technical background with appropriate work experience

• Proven track of record as People Leader and managing teams

• Experience in Quality Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a focus on Quality

• Strong operational & project management skills

• Strong manufacturing background

• Quick comprehension, strong understanding of interfaces and synergies as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality

• Strong communication and the ability to inspire & motivate people

• Good written and spoken German and English language skills
