General Electric Sales Manager in Leicester, United Kingdom

Role Summary:

A vacancy exists in the United Kingdom for a Sales Manager that will chase plant-wide Cybersecurity opportunities within power generation, oil & gas and industrial markets. Despite based in the UK, the role is responsible for business growth across the whole European region and the successful candidate is expected to develop high level customer relationships, understand customer CTQ's and ultimately meet annual Orders quota targets and grow market share.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership for sales to assigned customers through the formulation and execution for strategies and plans that capitalize on the customer’s strengths as supplemented by BHGE’s products and services

• Build customer relationships with the assigned customer for sales

• Support the assigned customer in sales activities and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunities

• Coordinate activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, and delivery

• Negotiate contracts as required

• Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base

• Work with Marketing to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customers

• Make recommendations for continued growth

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Generation, Oil & Gas / Energy sector

• Minimum 5 years’ experience establishing and executing Cybersecurity related strategies

• Demonstrate knowledge and experience within Cybersecurity, specifically Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) serving critical Industrial Control Systems (ICS)

• Native English-speaking person.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

• Entrepreneurial attitude. Able to work independently with minimal guidance.

• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territories

Desired Characteristics:

• Possess at least one recognizable professional cybersecurity certification (SANS, ISC2, etc.)

• Field / Operational experience on Industrial Control System products, markets and applications
