Job Description Summary
Service Sales and Proposal Manager plays a key role within GE Grid Solutions, Power Transmission (PT) - Services in Southeast Asia Region. You will be responsible for managing services sales and supporting the delivery of the countries’ sales strategy & actions related to service & solution portfolio in the Malaysian Peninsula managed under Southeast Asia Sub region.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Service commercial operating plan in Malaysian Peninsula which includes facilitating strategic commercial plans to pursue key deals, influence customer business outcomes to bring about optimized solutions and results.
Mapping out market dynamics and trends for key customers viz. TNB, SEB, DES and other utility and Industrial Customers in the Peninsula. Provide timely feedback in order to guide product development, promotion, price and go-to market strategies.
Meeting operational quarterly Orders and Growth KPIs by managing pipeline opportunities, orders/ convertible orders and profitability of Service business.
Provide timely and accurate monthly business forecast and management of Salesforce system.
Work closely with Key Account Managers/ Country Managers to leverage, build and maintain close customer relationship and sales opportunities. This includes working collaboratively with internal teams during bid or tender stages of proposal, bidding and negotiation to ensure deal closure.
Managing, supporting and motivating Third Parties (Channel Partner development where needed) in achieving annual sales target. Review key initiatives to increase channels effectiveness and where necessary conduct/co-ordinate product training and application support to channel partner.A prior experience for these markets and first-hand view of TNB, SEB and partners is a mandatory requirement.
