Role Summary:

Full - Time Regular

An opening for Senior Technical Support Manager – based in Kuala Lumpur. The position will support the Services Division.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues.

  • Level 1,2,3 Technical Support - Resolves post sales Technical Issues.

  • As the technical depth required to resolve an issue increases, the skill set increases. For some products 1 individual may handle levels1,2 and 3 while for other products these may be separate individuals with increasing skill sets.

  • Participates in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions.

  • Important business unit clients. Complex processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally.

  • Work with PL to promote the new products within region.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ of experience in upstream oil and gas.

  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Services-Technical Support.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams.

  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

  • This position may involve demanding physical requirements and work in offshore/onshore remote locations, where access to medical care is not consistent, and weather conditions extreme.

  • The applicant may be required to undergo fit for duty medical exams.
