Job Description Summary

The Aero Projects Director is responsible for driving projects excellence for Aero projects in the tendering as well as execution phases across the Asia Pole. You will track major project risks and proactively mitigate these risks in partnership with the region Order-To- Remittance (OTR) team; be responsible for resolving significant customer issues, managing execution risk, driving fulfillment excellence; and sharing expertise with regions in collaboration with HQ functions supporting Aero projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide early leadership for high probability turnkey and extended scope projects during the Inquiry-To-Order (ITO) and advance release phases.

  • Work inpartnershipwith the Aero ITO personnel to enable the ITO team to effectively prepare robust proposals that minimize execution risk, ensuring seamless transition to the regional execution team.

  • CollaboratewithITO teamtodevelop project action plan during ITO, schedule team meetings with necessaryfunctions to drive execution implementationandsolve process delays.

  • Coordinatewith C&Cand Partnering teams to select and manage the assessment and onboarding of service providers to support equipment design, supply, installation and commissioning work scopes.

  • Provideregional Project Leadership fora portfolio ofAero projects ensuring safety, quality, technical, cost and on-time deliveryrequirements areachievedin partnership with the regional OTR team.

  • Proactively mitigateproject risks in partnership with the regional OTRteamsand global stakeholders.

  • Navigate and influence Aero HQ functions (e.g., Global Supply Chain,Engineeringand others) to ensure engagement and drive major customer issue resolution early.

  • Drive fulfillment quality and excellence during the OTR phase, collaborating with dedicated Aero OTR functions.

  • Supportadvance releasefor onshoreservices (e.g., geotechnical,logistics surveys, EPC initial design, etc.).

  • Support GE rental projects with the responsibilities given above by remaining engaged through the rental period or until the customer is capable of independently running the units.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college

  • At least 8-10 years Engineering experience of which 5 years complex project management experience in the Energy industry
