Role Summary:

Serves as Business Intelligence (BI) expert. Lead BI projects under Solution Delivery Center.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of one or more small to medium complex projects from initiation through closure in BI Solution Delivery Center

  • Creates project plans and cost estimates.

  • Establishes and manages client relationships, leads and assists in planning reporting initiatives

  • Ensure successful transition to support and maintenance teams

  • Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as requested by customer

  • Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback

  • Develops peer, cross-functional and cross-GE business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  • Responsible for the validation of all GxP relevant applications and maintaining the validated state of those applications

  • Drive adherence to BI and IT development process

  • Develop an open quality culture within the organization that fosters issue discussion and decision-making based on quality and compliance objectives

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies

  • Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication

  • Project management experience in global environments

  • Good working knowledge of database design concepts and SQL

  • Good working knowledge and exposure to Business intelligence and data warehousing tools and technologies like

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence at all levels in the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver

  • Ability to learn complex business systems/processes and develop innovative solutions to meet the business requirements

  • BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent

  • Leadership Training Program experience (ITLP, OMLP, FMP)

  • Lean experience

  • Experience in the healthcare industry

  • PMP / ITIL certified
