Role Summary:

LM Wind Power seeks a senior engineer having experience with electrical/control system design.

Essential Responsibilities:

We are looking for a technically strong senior engineer with an eye for detail, with deep knowledge of electrical and control engineering, and with the ability to learn and understand technical aspects related to blade heating systems. These are e.g. integration of electrical system in the blade structure, understanding system performance requirements and transferring this into system design, and working with suppliers and LM production on the implementation of system design into well-defined component specifications and production documentation.

You will be part of the Product Design & Engineering team and your main task is to operate, maintain and further improve our blade heating system, which is an important part of LM’s product and component strategy. Your responsibility will cover functionality of the electrical system design and controls of these, as well as integrating it into our products and production. You will work in a highly skilled team of engineers with different cultural backgrounds. You should expect 4-6 weeks of travelling per year.


Our new senior engineer has:

  • As a minimum a BSc in Electrical/control/mechatronic engineering

  • Experience with electrical and control systems product design, development, and production

  • Experience with programming

  • Experience with mechanical design/ engineering

  • Experience with integrating electrical and mechanical system design

  • A practical mind-set – you must be able to handle tests and implementation of your work in test facilities, workshops and factories.
