General Electric Process Leader, Validation And APQP in Kolding, Denmark
The purpose of this role is to contribute reducing the warranty provisions and service call rates focusing on the back-end of projects and fostering feedback loops which reduce the number and severity of defects reaching customers. It is about managing knowledge, assure lessons are captured and improvement actions are implemented efficiently, and their effectiveness validated across key business areas of Industrialization, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Service and Operations.
Key responsibilities are the assurance of a complete follow-through of verification and validation aspects according APQP4WIND® *) in all projects which affect warranty exposure , acting as an ambassador for Quality and APQP4WIND®, influencing, supporting and auditing the indicated organizations on effective implementation of corrective and preventive improvements.

Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and assure APQP4WIND® compliance with respect to verification, validation and continuous improvement related to product, technology and equipment development projects and product quality failures in the company domains of Engineering, Industrialization, Operations, Service and Quality Assurance
Influence BMS process owners to evaluate and strengthen the verification and validation part including feedback loops to relevant stakeholders of their processes
Develop Quality Assurance and risk management thinking and value creation through knowledge management, sharing and coaching
Establish a knowledge management strategy including KPIs and its monitoring and lead its implementation across the LM organization
Monitor, prioritize, and execute programs, projects and KPIs to ensure delivery according to plans and commitments
Drive and assure capturing of lessons-learnt and its implementation from all Engineering, Industrialization, Quality Assurance, Service and Operations to avoid re-occurrences which impact negatively warranty costs
Actively participate in the Global Quality Assurance team to develop, prioritize, and execute ambitious strategies
Drive a collaborative partnership with key functions in LM and GE Renewable Energy functions in relation to projects, support and knowledge sharing with special focus on the project back-ends
Perform strategic analyses, drive and conduct verification and validation efforts and analysis, monitor outcomes and report internally and externally
Develop lessons learned feedback system to drive continuous improvement of processes, tools and quality management systems to improve quality and support reduction of warranty cost exposure
Drive the management of change system application to ensure effective implementation of changes positively impacting the performance of quality assurance within Engineering, Industrialization, Quality Assurance, Service and Operation projects
Lead, conduct, participate and request process, system or product audits and develop audit schemes focusing on verification and validation of corrective, preventive and improvement actions linked to development projects and product quality failures in Industrialization, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Service and Operations
Master’s degree (or equivalent knowledge/experience), preferable in Science, Engineering or Quality from an accredited university or college
Quality Lead Auditor certification
Significant professional experience in relevant fields, preferably within Quality, Project Management and Knowledge Management within industrial and manufacturing business environments
Significant experience working with and leading projects or programs, managing risk and change, and facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Has worked in a multi-plant and multi-cultural global manufacturing business, coordinating global Quality related activities across sites with direct customer impact
International experience working in a global matrix organization

Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and APQP4WIND® or similar industrial quality management systems
General knowledge of and experience in quality areas in wind turbine blade manufacturing or other relevant industrial manufacturing
Well organized, self-driven person, able to work and complete tasks independently and on time
Strong ability to influence multiple levels of leadership within the organization
Change management – strong ability to lead change
Strong capability to clearly communicate, convince, motivate and inspire others
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Used to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams
Capability to manage complexity \
Strong English languages skills (verbal and written) Other regional languages will be considered as a plus
Able to travel internationally at the level of 20-40% (in average)
Background in LEAN Six Sigma is a plus
