Job Description Summary
Join the journey with LM Wind Power to continue playing leading role in energy transition with strong market insights and forward-looking sustainability agenda. Lead the market intelligence effort for the company to create a strong foundation for strategic actions. The market intelligence effort will include monitoring primary and secondary data on wind targets and policies in EU region, collaborate with broad industry stakeholder groups (trade associations, advocacy groups and wind supply chain players) to establish strong network and gather actional insights. Quarterly report out and frequent dialogue with senior leadership provides visibility and learning opportunities.
Sustainability is playing an increasing importance in the wind industry and is a core area for LM Wind Power. In close cooperation with the Internal Sustainability Team, the Marketing Intelligence & Sustainability Lead will analyze the sustainability landscape across the value chain, create an adequate response mechanism and coordinate internally for audits and actions.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor European policy on green transition, especially wind energy (Fit for 55, Green Hydrogen, CBAM, ADD & Tariffs etc.)
Deliver actionable market intel covering EU & UK region on Wind OEMs, market installs & Order book
Monitor and analyze Turbine and Blade technology trends and lead the Benchmarking exercise
Monitor 2-3 key wind OEMs in terms of Financials/Orders, Turbine tech, Blade sourcing and footprint
Delivery quarterly market forecast updates to LM colleagues through formal Calls
Delivery quarterly plus ad-hoc customer updates (Quarterly results/ Major strategy shifts etc.) to Key stakeholder groups and Senior Leadership
Network with Marketing and Intel teams of industry stakeholders to create strong visibility for LM
Liaise with external consultants on policy, market forecast, OEM market share and Blade OEM market share topics
Represent the company in targeted working groups from wind trade associations like Wind Europe
Sustainability -
Create strong working relationship with Internal Sustainability Team
Monitor developments to the sustainability agenda from major IPPs and OEMs & keep track of latest updates to select OEMs and IPPs “Sustainability Reports”
Create and keep updated dashboard of sectoral Sustainability Goals
Monitor impact on LM and drive actions that maintain LM´s “Industry Thought Leadership Position”
Coordinate for “Sustainability Audit” with Key customers, end users and LM Sustainability Team and plants.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Marketing & Market Intelligence. STEM background is preferred. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree. Basic knowledge about wind industry sustainability landscape is desirable.
Working knowledge of data analysis tools & proficiency in MS Office is required
