General Electric HR Manager / Business Partner, Global Functions in Kolding, Denmark

Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for People Leaders and employees to provide leadership and guidance on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities.

You will execute our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, whilst driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Your primary population scope will be global functions in LM Wind Power; Manufacturing & Industrial Strategy, Quality & EHS. You will cover our locations in Denmark, Spain and Netherlands. In Addition there will be a smaller GE population outside of LM Wind Power, based in Denmark

The role is located in our headquarter office in Kolding, Denmark.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple people leaders and employees with specific focus on employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention

  • Provide employees and leaders with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalate concerns beyond own scope to HR Leaders.

  • Be responsible for Country specific HR requirements e.g (Vendor agreements, reimbursements, interface between payroll and public authorities etc)

  • Liaise with other HR Managers globally, to drive cross-border processes/activities

  • Ensure rigor on HR operational tasks, incl. end-to-end employee lifecycle, reporting, analytics, HR data management etc.

  • Partner with HR Leaders to execute business-specific HR strategies.

  • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved

  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment

  • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgement, and care

  • Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like Salary Planning, New Employee Orientation and New Manager Assimilation

  • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with and knowledge of Danish employment legislation

  • Experience from an international environment

  • Educational background within HR Management, Business Administration or similar, preferably at Bachelor level

  • 3-5 years prior relevant HR Experience. Solid understanding of core HR processes, concepts and principles

  • Own car / ability to travel between local sited in the Triangle region of Denmark. Minimal international travel required (maximum 5%).

  • Strong English language skills in writing and verbal
