Role Summary / Purpose:

As Intern in our Global EHS organization, you will support senior and operational management, globally by means of promoting, coordinating, facilitating, and implementing projects as per LM Wind Power, GE Renewable and GE EHS requirements. This internship will support company initiatives for sustainability and the global processes for establishing an accident-free environment for employees. Develop tools that will help digitize routine measurement activities.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Enhance exchange of information by regular effective safety communication methods to the entire organization.

  • EHS activities related to New Product, process developments, Mould Production, Machines, Equipment, and ergonomic issues.

  • Establish, communicate, and engage into machine and building safety matters

  • Work with suppliers on EHS compliance of equipment and machines.

Desired characteristics:

This role will be a great fit for a driven, outgoing, and proactive candidate with a good commercial understanding, focused on environment/sustainability with strong communication skills.

  • Experience in renewable industry

  • Good technical understanding

  • Cultural awareness covering Americas, Europe, India and China

  • Robust knowledge of key concepts of documentation requirements (CE and similar), risk assessment, technical safety requirements, safety engineering and best practices in different industries

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong English language skill (verbal and writing). Strong presentation skills

  • Knowledge of and experience with communication and execution.

  • Interest and some understanding of renewable energy global market drivers

  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • A strong communicator internally and externally, able to remain focused on delivery and execution
