Role Summary:

Will manage teams of 2 to 6 people in charge of carrying out machining works on industrial installations and electricity, thermal and nuclear production plants. The items of equipment involved are turbo-generators and their ancillary equipment, pumps and compressors.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervising teams of fitters performing the following tasks:

  • Adjustment and checking of fitting plans

  • Adjustment of bearings and bushings

  • Assembly, adjustment and checking sealing

  • Adjustment of diaphragms

  • Detection of anomalies

  • Opening, disassembly and re-assembly of external and internal elements

  • Adjustment and positioning of rotors

  • Adjustment of steam devices

  • Assembly, adjustment and supervision of accessory equipment

  • Realisation and checking of alignment of rotors and closure of couplings

  • Assembly and adjustment of mechanical and electric turning gears

  • Disassembly, checking, and re-assembly of inlet valves

  • The job will be done in a workshop or on a worksite

  • Updating the schedule for completion

  • Reporting on progress of work

  • Feeding back information to work site management (anomalies, disputes)

  • Performing quality control and traceability of work (official reports, reports, quality plan monitoring, etc.)

  • Organizing your team in relation to the work

  • Being aware of and ensuring application of all rules, including for support staff

  • Being aware of information shown on orders and other project orders.

  • Complying with and following the safety and environmental instructions at your workplace or (in case of travel) wherever you work.

  • Reporting any situations which pose a danger to yourself, to others, or the environment, to the relevant persons

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Secondary vocational school degree

  • Significant experience in maintenance and of supervising a team (or similar role)

  • Knowledge in matters of safety and the environment and skills in handling and metrology

  • Knowledge of technical English; Fluent in Croatian

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
