Job Description Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing maintenance activities of the Owner’s generating assets, ensuring adequate and reliable equipment and units are available to meet generation requirements in a safe and cost-effective manner. The O&M Manager reports to the Plant Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Manager, you will:
Maintain care, custody, control and safe operation and maintenance of a 200 MW combined cycle power plant.
Provide strong leadership and coaching for approximately 5 site mechanical, electrical, instrumentation technicians.
Supervise regulatory compliance for environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Assist in annual budget preparation and effectively manage plant expenditures.
Lead maintenance team to meet customer requirements in the most safe, reliable, economical and environmentally safe manner.
Develop and implement training and personnel resource plans to ensure adequate technical resources to satisfy plant needs.
Identify and diagnose equipment and system operating failures and abnormal conditions. Identify and initiate corrective actions as appropriate with the assistance of other staff members.
Support plant operations in on-call basis with backup from the Plant Manager, or designee.
Participate in outage planning and execution to ensure the safety of personnel and on-time completion of the workscope. Plan, track, and document work completion.
Facilitate and coordinate proactive risk assessment, predictive analysis, and root-cause analysis of equipment failures and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Management of Change procedures.
Recruit, interview and actively participate in the selection of maintenance staff. Assure proper staffing, scheduling and training of technicians.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of power plant experience).
Minimum 5 years experience with increasing levels of responsibility in plant Operations and Maintenance.
Minimum 3 years experience with large frame Gas Turbines
Desired Characteristics
Operations and/or Maintenance experience in Combined Cycle plants
Experience with lean, predictive maintenance.
Extensive knowledge of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations
Highly organized and adaptable to change with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledgeable with Gas Turbine Control Systems, IT and I&E systems
