Job Description Summary
Required Qualifications (what is required for the job):
High School Diploma or GED
Actively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes
One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Willingness to work overtime as required FAA/DOT Pre-employment Drug Screen
Skills (Physical ability):
Basic ERP Skills, Basic Computer and Microsoft Office skills
Basic math skills, Basic written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to lift safely up to 25lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time as required
Ability to be self-directed
Essential Functions & Responsibilities (definition of job):
Review FAA and Customer documents and understand process and procedures.
Work with team members to facilitate component process through Repair Station.
Ability to learn Part 145 Repair Station rules and regulations.
Move parts/work orders through own cell or departments as required.
Take ownership of job detail to produce customer expected outcome. Train with Certified Repairman to obtain record of part 145 skills.
Understand traceability of parts per Air Agency Regulations.
Ability to pass quarterly random DOT Drug and/or Alcohol screening if selected
