General Electric Product Sales Specialist, Diagnostic Cardiology in Jacksonville, Florida

Job Description Summary

As the Product Sales Specialist, you will own and drive the sales strategy for the Diagnostic Cardiology (DCAR) portfolio for Jacksonville, the Florida panhandle, and South Georgia.

GE’s DCAR business consists of cardiology ecosystem solutions such as ECG carts, Stress systems, and MUSE software for editing, storing, and studying ECGs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders within hospital, physician practice and centers in order to identify qualified leads, grow market share and increase revenue, and reduce customer attrition

  • Operate at a high level of independence while leveraging the assets the team environment can offer

  • Deliver on quarterly & annual orders and revenue sales targets; maximize profit margin on equipment and service contract sales.

  • Leverage Diagnostic Cardiology product knowledge to drive funnel growth for the region.

  • Demonstrate expertise in customers’ installed base and develop sales proposals that map with their annual budget process.

  • Collaborate with the account community team to support co-developed negotiation strategies.

  • Reduce cycle time by leveraging Salesforce.com (CRM tool) to track customer and account activity, to map visibility and drive market share, and to prioritize sales funnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and at least one of the following core experiences: 2+ years of consultative sales experience in the medical device/consumables industry including strategic selling and negotiation, 3+ years GEHC experience in customer facing role(s), OR a graduate of the GE Commercial Leadership Program

  • Demonstrated success crafting and executing complex sales opportunities

  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers

  • Must live in and be willing to travel within the territory, with 30% overnights
