Job Description Summary
GE Aviation is offering the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and applications, specializing in aircraft engine design and analysis, in a technology base. Our location, Gebze Turkey Technology Center (TTC) in Kocaeli, is one of GE Aviation's nine engineering centers throughout the world, supporting aviation-related R&D and innovation projects that expand with new investments. Our campus is in Gebze, Kocaeli.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Execute with limited guidance the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements
Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams as well as hands on individual engagement; mentor others in the organization
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Qualifications/Requirements:
BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering
At least 10 years of experience in Aviation Engineering position, hands on experience in engine design
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Proficient in the use of engineering software. (such as NX and ANSYS)

Proven self-starter and quick learner who can work with cross-functional teams.
Taken courses in Advanced Mechanical Design, Elasticity, Modal Analysis, Advanced Vibrations and Fatigue Analysis.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensional and Tolerancing)
