GE Aerospace is offering the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and applications, specializing in aircraft engine design and analysis, in a technology base.

Our location, Gebze Turkey Technology Center (TTC) in Kocaeli, is one of GE Aerospace's nine engineering centers throughout the world, supporting aviation-related R&D and innovation projects that expand with new investments. Our campus is in Gebze, Kocaeli.

The life management lead engineer will perform analysis required to establish safe operating life limits for the engine’s most critical rotating parts across various product lines. You will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis required to define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements

• Required analysis will range from Low cycle fatigue (LCF) and fracture mechanics lifing analysis of critical parts or mission analysis

• Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers

• Document and communicate results of technical data generated

• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

• Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives

• Share information and promote open dialogue

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
