Job Description Summary
GE Aerospace is offering the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and applications, specializing in aircraft engine design and analysis, in a technology base. TTC is one of GE Aerospace's nine engineering centers throughout the world, supporting aviation-related R&D and innovation projects that expand with new investments.
Additive process engineer will be responsible from leading manufacturing and technology development projects, including full responsibility of project scoping, funding and schedule coordination, team coordination and drive execution.
Be located at GE Marmara Technology Center, Gebze – Kocaeli, Turkey as main location and support offices in Kartal/ İstanbul.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Execute manufacturing and technology development for various part families, scope and execute feasibility studies, conduct DoE where required.
Lead projects to address manufacturing & technology development. Will scope the project with balancing required output, resources and schedule. Will coordinate and drive the team to execution of project with desired quality output.
Work with global subject matter experts, execute projects with multinational participants.
Will be responsible from creating standard work procedures / training material to repeated efforts provide permanent contribution in a continuous learning environment
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
10 year or more work experience in relevant scope
Significant experience with additive manufacturing technologies. Demonstrated experience in Laser Powder Bed Fusion modality is highly desired.
Experienced in manufacturing technologies, engaged with shop environment including quality and safety process.
Awareness on CAD programs
Awareness on Lean tools application in production, ability to apply them in current role
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Able to work with global team and address business concerns with innovative technical solutions
Demonstrated analytical, experimental and problem solving skills.
