As the Product Sales Specialist General Imaging Ultrasound, you will own and drive the sales strategy for the General Imaging Ultrasound for Indiana and Southwest Michigan.

Job Description


  • Selling general imaging ultrasound product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects within the Indiana and SW Michigan territory

  • Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on General Imaging (GI) Ultrasound products in assigned territory, to include maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships.

  • Penetrating competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns and opportunities.

  • Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive General Imaging Ultrasound sales

  • Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio.

  • Annual and quarterly achievement of orders and revenue targets along with maintaining the appropriate weekly operational requirements.

  • Development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.


  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Willingness to travel 50% within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business need.

  • Must be willing to live within the territory.(Indianapolis area preferred).

  • Ability to meet customer site access requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination.

Desired Characteristics

  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer-facing radiology-based commercial role.

  • Two years of capital equipment sales experience, preferably Healthcare, with highly transactional sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a cross segment team.

  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales offers.

  • Proven customer acumen and relationship building skills in a hospital/healthcare environment.

  • Demonstrated communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages.

  • Basic proficiency in in Salesforce CRM.
