As a Sr QA Engineer working for Portfolio of Product Development teams, you will work closely with your peers in fast-paced global Agile development teams. Responsible for technically leading QA test activities of products with focus on transforming the QA capabilities in areas of Dev Ops, Automation, non-functional testing and ensuring most efficient test plans and coverage to deliver innovative software solutions.
Key aspects of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for technical team leading, planning, coordination, execution and reporting of multi-platform (on-prem, cloud) products/solutions across Web, and Mobile applications with focus on automation solutions and continuous improvement in delivery of test efficiency and coverage metrics of the quality team.
Responsible for delivery of regression and sprint level test automation by leading test framework and test case development (manual/automation)
In-depth experience of developing or expanding test automation frameworks that provide a foundation for reliable, robust, and resilient test automation that can be integrated into a CI/CD pipeline or executed separately for on-prem or cloud platforms
Experience of Agile ways of working with heavy emphasis on shift left approach to quality.
In-depth experience of non-functional testing (Performance, Scalability, Concurrency, Reliability, Availability, Interoperability, Compatibility) from planning to test execution / reporting.
Act as point of contact for all test related queries and provide technical test support and training for test team members for products or platforms responsible for.
Actively lead on-going development of testing processes and implementation of testing best practice.
Ensure defect and test automation backlogs have a plan for resolution which can be measured and reported against on a regular basis.
Be able to hire, train and develop talent.
Lead and resolve key cross functional team dependencies that impact the release delivery.
Comprehends the products of business and how the automation concepts can be applied to provide solutions.
Connects, inspires, and builds loyalty & commitment through inclusion.
Applies and follows knowledge of technical expertise, QA best practices, and proven processes to technically lead a small team of software testers.
In-depth experience in leading technical testing of various Web, and Mobile applications with proven ability to lead all areas of testing with hands on experience of test automation and non-functional testing.
In-depth experience some of the test tools e.g. WebdriverIO, Katalon, Kobiton, SoapUI, Jenkins, JMeter, Qtest
In-depth experience of Unix, Linux, iOS, Android and Windows platforms
In-depth experience of Kubernetes and Docker
In-depth of TDD (test-driven development) and BDD
In-depth of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 5 years of experience
Ability to lead and develop automation testing for complex on-prem and cloud products
Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
Experience in presenting plans for Automation by breaking down problems and estimate time/resource for developing Automation solutions
Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective
Proactively identifies and removes obstacles on behalf of the team
Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
Able to technically lead, mentor and motivate team members to meet business needs and prioritise conflicting requirements using sound commercial judgment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
Able to lead and work well with local and global teams, including time-zone flexibility
Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members.
