Job Description Summary
The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the Facilities Engineering Manager in a new manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is critical to driving business needs across the site, will manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise and will be heavily involved in identifying critical needs and the creation, implementation, and execution of key projects/solutions in a PSM-covered facility.
Roles and Responsibilities
Accountable for execution of the strategic capital plan for the site by working across functions and business teams
Champions implementation of the Stage Gate Process and facilitates approval of funding for capital and expense projects
Builds and manages a team of direct and indirect resources to efficiently and effectively deliver the capital plan
Manages relationships with external engineering service providers to ensure availability and efficiency of project support
Contributes to long-term planning, manages complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contributes to the overall business strategy
Is involved in discussions with other disciplines about future developments and consequences for the business unit
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Project Management & Site Management)
5 years of experience in Project Management & Site Management

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM)
Project Management Professional Certification
Licensed Professional Engineer
