General Electric Sr Staff Technical Product Manager in HOUSTON, Texas

The Sr Staff Technical Product Manager, on the Digital Technologies Human Resources (HR) Applications Team, leverages deep knowledge of Time and Attendance technology, process and domain expertise to create and deliver the strategic road map of Time and Attendance capabilities and geographic coverage. Builds relationships with various customer stakeholders and executives. Collaborates functional owners(s), project technical team(s), project managers within program and interdependencies teams

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Sr Staff Technical Product Manager, you will:

  • Be accountable for successful deployment of foundational Time & Attendance systems, including Kronos Workforce Central. Further, you will share responsibility for integrations with other HR digital ecosystem solutions

  • Own development & execution of product technology & functional capability roadmaps, including migration of key data to BHGE Time & Attendance instances

  • Demonstrate product leadership acumen while identifying areas for process re-engineering and transformation

  • Work with functional process owners, regional subject matter experts, and a systems implementation partner to redesign business processes that are more digital, and improve employee experience globally

  • Lead prioritization discussions for business requirements, approve future state design/configurations and ensure successful implementation through the product lifecycle

  • Lead cross functional teams and partners to create, design and implement global design standards for solutions related to Time & Attendance

  • Engage and collaborate closely with the BHGE Workday platform leadership, global teams, functional stakeholders and other DT technology groups in design, acceptance and implementation of solutions for Time & Attendance

  • Own project planning & resource allocation to ensure effective delivery

  • Identify key performance indicators, set milestones, and establish a reporting cadence

  • Manage risk and dependencies between projects & align with standard DT operating mechanisms.

  • As a domain expert for your Time & Attendance, you will engage customers at mid-level management and technical levels to develop/refine portfolio strategy, influence customer & industry direction and execute strategy

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering or 4 years of IT technical experience

  • Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Time Management including leading cross-functional initiatives and/or large global projects

Desired Characteristics:

  • The successful candidate will have significant functional knowledge of HR as well as significant technical knowledge of a core set of Digital Technologies used by HR (examples include Workday, SAP, Kronos, etc.) Experience is not required in all areas listed, but candidate mush show depth in a core set of technologies & have demonstrated HR domain expertise

  • Both types of candidates will be considered: Time and Attendance experts with significant DT exposure or DT experts with significant Time and Attendance domain expertise

  • Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization

  • Experience managing budgets including budget, spend, and liquidations.

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals

  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization

  • Self-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goals. Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
