As the Life Care Solutions (LCS) Region General Manager, you are accountable to grow sales revenue and margins for the Life Care Solutions business within the Houston market. You will drive coherent product differentiation and commercial strategy for the Life Care Solutions business and optimize use of resources.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Informs the value creation teams and local leadership of evolving market and customer needs to drive the continuous product innovation

  • Leads, develops, and manages a team of Product Sales Specialists (PSS) to drive performance and growth within the territory

  • Achieves Product/Solution/Service P&L Operating Plan targets (Orders, Sales, Contribution Margin, Base Costs and Operating Margin and Cash (where applicable)) for Houston Market

  • Works closely with service leadership to coordinate key installs and customer deliverables

  • Accurately forecasts the pipeline and sales within LCS and Houston

  • Drives optimal operating mechanisms to deliver on fulfillment targets and order backlog commitments

  • Understands and analyzes market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities for the PSS/PS teams and account teams

  • Ensures and validates product positioning and differentiation of messages

  • Communicates appropriate operating plan targets based on product market potential, for the team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales / Marketing with a minimum of 7 years progressively responsible leadership experience within the healthcare industry

  • Previous experience developing and leading a team of sales professionals

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare market and establishing relationships with key decision makers

  • Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills

  • Experience developing and/or presenting information to stakeholders and/or leadership

  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic work environment, while maintaining a forward-thinking and customer-first attitude

Desired Characteristics

  • Clinical and technical knowledge in healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms

  • Previous work experience within the Lifecare Solutions space
