General Electric Encompass Site Health Leader in Houston, Texas

Job Description Summary

In this role, the Encompass Site Health Leader will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting the performance of every installation of Encompass in the US and Canada (USCAN). Should issues be uncovered, the Encompass Site Health Leader will alert the appropriate support teams, and coordinate efforts between those teams and the local, site-level support. This role serves as the primary point of contact for any system-wide or site-level issues and is charged with managing and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Encompass system in USCAN. The role will also act as a training resource to end users and site-level support teams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Monitor, track, manage and report the performance of every Encompass installation across USCAN

  • Triage, resolve and/or route all incoming Level 2 tickets requesting Encompass support

  • Alert the product support teams as needed, and coordinate efforts between those teams and the local, site-level support

  • Train, mentor, and act as the single point of contact for all local, site-level support team members

  • Lead weekly Champion calls with site-level support teams

  • Work with HTM Training & Technical Product teams to maintain updated training materials (both internal and customer-facing)

  • Assist with overall system performance by escalating reoccurring system issues

  • Assist with standardization of Label Nomenclature and Coverage Issues

  • Provide on-going end user Encompass training

  • Communicate and train users on new functionality when it’s released

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience working in a hospital environment

  • Demonstrated understanding of medical equipment and it’s movement within a clinical care setting

  • Ability to obtain unrestricted Hospital Vendor Credentialing

  • Strong customer interaction skills and customer focus

  • Demonstrated an understanding of Wi-Fi fundamentals

  • Ability to work independently

  • Clearly communicate and interface with Biomedical Technicians, Customers and Internal GE stakeholders

Desired Characteristics

  • Support experience with real-time locating systems (RTLS)

  • Experience working in hospital environment

  • Familiar with hospital departments, medical equipment and it’s uses

  • Understanding of standard hospital policies and processes LEAN training and experience driving change
