Job Description Summary
The Aero Plant Execution Excellence Leader is responsible for driving process standardization, implementation of continuous improvements and lowest total plant installed cost and schedule based on lessons learned across ITO and OTR and leveraging industry best practices in collaboration with other Aero functions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Drive process standardization across ITO and OTR
Understand causes of projects Cost-Of-Quality (COQ), implement processes and tools to mitigate COQ
Develop process improvements that have a significant impact on project execution performance including parts fulfillment, hot-list implementation and warranty responsiveness
Proactively drive capture of lessons learned and manage quality issue preventative actions
Support Plant Engineering, C&C and Partnering with standardized processes for equipment design, supply, installation and commissioning work scopes to lower total installed plant cost
Navigate and influence Aero HQ functions (e.g., Global Supply Chain, Engineering and others) to ensure engagement continuous process improvements
Establish leadership rhythms to report on process standardization, continuous improvement and total installed plant cost reduction implementation
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5 years of complex project management experience in the Energy industry
Strong analytical skills for identification, assessment and analysis of problem
Power plant delivery experience and knowledge
Ability to speak Spanish
Strong team player with interpersonal, communication, influencing and team building skills
Strong customer-orientation, focus and passion to win
Proven record of success working in a multicultural, regional, cross functional team
Strong understanding of project business cases, encompassing impacts as project objectives, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics
