Job Description Summary
The Aero Global Cost Productivity Leader for the $1B Aero Business Line will develop and drive the standards for cost productivity. This includes partnering with engineering and the regions to improve our operational decisions that affect cost. This role will also be responsible to drive the rhythm across the businesses line to improve overall profitability.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead cost trend reviews in partnership with the Aero Alliance, Field Core, and MYA team
Develop the standard process and implement operational processes for the regions to manage cost budgets for each job
Partner with the regions during margin review process to ensure lessons learned are implemented specifically for the contract and the Global standard is updated (if applicable)
Develop the global standard for engine removal decisions (Unplanned Engine removals, UERs) and (working with the regions and engineering) lead the daily management of potential engine removals.
Partnering with the MYA Catalog team, develop and implement the processes to facilitate the best financial decisions (impact on contract margin, CCU) to balance customer support and contract margin
Required Qualifications
Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or related field) from an accredited college or university
Minimum threeyearsexperiencein Power Generation in engineering, customer service or operations
Desired Characteristics
Familiarity with Aero derivative Gas Turbines
Experience with Aero Field and shop execution processes
Experience in developing strategy to exceed quarterly/yearly financial goals.
Demonstrated business / commercial acumen
Proven influencing skills and ability tocommunicate with all levels of internal/external customer organizations
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
