The Analog Electronics Engineer position is primarily responsible for analog and digital electronics design in high end premium ultrasound products from GE.
Design, test and verification of state-of-the-art ultrasound transmitters, ultra-low-noise receivers and high-speed communication lines.
Design of new analog and digital electrical boards, circuits, components and interconnects
Engaging in all phases of new product introduction: concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
Perform debugging and problem solving
Implement changes for obsolete components in installed base products. Qualifications/Requirements:
Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering
Significant relevant work experience, but less experienced applicants will also be considered
Good English proficiency, both oral and written Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated circuit design experience in Analog or Mixed Signal disciplines
Simulation of analog circuits and signal integrity
EMC compatible design/solution experience
Knowledge of UL/IEC standards and how they apply to designs
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for own tasks Locations: Norway; Horten
