General Electric NDT Inspection (FPI/MAG/X-Ray) in Hooksett, New Hampshire

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Setting-up and operating non-destructive inspection-relatedtools/equipment.

  • Performing prescribed NDT inspection techniques and processes todetect part compliance issues.

  • Performing basic mathematical calculations.

  • Trainingduties.

  • Performing related environmental, health, safety, maintenance, quality, continuousimprovement, and production-flow job duties to support plant machinery, equipment, andmanufacturing-related initiatives and programs.

  • Maintaining detailed job taskdocumentation, reports, and records.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 1-year of experience in a technically-relatedfield i.e., manufacturing, fabrication, inspection, or mechanical engineering; Or

  • Bachelor’sdegree, Associate’s degree or Technical certificate from an accredited university or college in atechnically-related field i.e., manufacturing, fabrication, inspection, or mechanicalengineering.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous NDT Inspection processing experience.

  • Set-up and operation ofinspection tools and equipment.

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings,and/or engineering specifications.

  • Performing basic mathematicalcalculations.

  • Lean Six Sigma fundamentals.

  • EH&S processes andprocedures.

  • Oral and written communication skills.

  • Computer applications such asMicrosoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or web-based systems.

  • Demonstrated ability inmaintaining relationships by recognizing needs and sensitivities of others, and cooperating andresolving conflicts that inspire the Team in achieving objectives anddeliverables.
