Job Description Summary

Project Finance Manager (PFM) is responsible for providing financial leadership to Aero New Units portfolio OTR projects for power generation equipment. PFM will have overall responsibility for margin expansion and CFOA maximization for each project in his portfolio.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Responsible for main project financials (sales, margin, CFOA, reserves). Work closely with Project Managers to identify opportunity and mitigate risks

  • Working closely with Project Managers and Contract manager to support customer and suppliers negotiations aimed to protect/maximize margin and CFOA

  • Support quarterly project reviews, reporting on the project status, primary projects risks and action items required to mitigate those risks, and expected financial condition at the conclusion of the project

  • Responsible for Project P&L and Balance Sheet with monthly reporting to OTR Finance Manager & Project Manager. Ensure proper Quarterly Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Managing the quarterly financial closing for his/her project portfolio, including Sales booking entries in accordance with US GAAP and Revenue Recognition policy. Maintain accurate project accounting

  • Supporting KPMG/ GE Internal audits for project’s specific request and details

  • Working with Treasury to monitor of FX volatility through different Legal Entities & functional currencies

  • Support Hungarian OTR process setup, understanding relevant operational and financial elements of process. Participate on calls and represent the factory in these process discussions

  • Strong collaboration with FP&A for developing estimates, plans/forecasts/reviews

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in finance / accounting

  • Strong experience in Finance / Accounting areas, supply chain finance is an advantage and /or equivalent experience

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, (Oracle and/or SAP is an advantage)

  • Fluent in English, both oral & written.. daily communications with Business,

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Attitude to “own” problems and responsibility areas

  • Can handle big databases, running reports from ERP, Oracle experience is an advantage

  • Excellent analytical skills and strong accounting background
