Job Description Summary

The Outage excellence Lean leader is responsible for driving the Outage excellence VSM strategy and improvement actions, to deliver a path to 95% successful outages and a 15% improvement in the CPM/CSL engagement score.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the outage excellence VSM creation/updates

  • Lead building out the corresponding outage excellence kaizen calendar – with a goal of improving successful outages to 95% and CPM/CSL engagement score to target

  • Ensure alignment in overall kaizen plan for CPM/CSL process steps across global organizations and regions

  • Identify opportunities to improve the CPM/CSL role

  • Lead Kaizens, PSRs, and projects to improve CPM/CSL role and the outage excellence process, partnering with 7 regions, ITO, Parts, Repairs, Field Services, quality, and engineering

  • Drive process improvements that cross between FC/APM/OSS and the regions

  • Drive communication and change management for process changes

  • Coach the teams on lean tools, including kaizen, PSRs, LAWO, etc.

  • Engage and motivate a global team working in various functions across multiple geographies and time zones

  • Provide recommendations and analysis of impact of key decisions to leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 5 years services related experience

  • Lean, Green Belt or Black Belt Certification (GE Employees Only)
