Role Summary/Purpose

As a Lead Test Automation Engineer, you will join a team of automation experts and design test solutions that challenge and stress the functionality, reliability, and performance of our wearable patient monitoring products.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Exercise critical, innovative thinking and apply best practice design & test methodologies to design, develop and maintain test automation solutions for functional, non-functional, challenging, and stress test scenarios such as performance, power consumption, Monte Carlo, reliability, etc.

  • Role is technical and requires ability to work both at a low-level for debugging HW/SW interface issues, integration into a continuous integration framework as well as higher level design strategies, project planning/coordination for framework development.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to gather test and use scenarios, design interfaces for test scripting and continuous integration systems.

  • Analyze results from test cases and look for continuous improvements in the products as well as in the testing methodology.

  • Teamwork in Agile teams. Collaborating with other teams and partner organizations locally and off site

  • Ensure compliance to medical regulatory standards during test development, execution and reporting including tool validation, report defects in product design and participate in technical reviews

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Software, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Significant experience using Python programming.

  • Experience with Linux and shell scripting

  • Good understanding of hardware and embedded systems automated testing.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills. Hands-on with HW/SW integration issues

  • Open and curious mindset willing to approach cutting-edge technology challenges

  • Team player attitude and good collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

  • EU work permit

Desired Characteristics

  • Understanding of measurement technologies, physiological data processing, and technologies for continuous data acquisition.

  • Understanding of wireless technologies, network protocols, and RF analysis tools.

  • Knowledge of Robot Framework

  • Familiar with Agile software development methods

  • Experience with version control systems like Git, code review tools and the practice of continuous integration

  • Experience with C++, C
