General Electric Delivery Manager in Home/Remote/Alternate, Germany

Job Description Summary

The Delivery Manager will own the overall delivery of client engagements across single or multiple solution offerings. They are responsible for quality of delivery and management of the delivery team, plus developing and maintaining key senior client relationships. They will work closely with the wider PS team developing propositions and supporting in customer business development, tender responses and client presentations. They will report to the lead for Process Optimization & Pathway Delivery for EMEA.

Job Description


  • Lead the delivery of performance improvements over and above just the equipment.

  • Lead process improvement, pathway design and change management engagements either directly or with a team as required to meet / exceed client expectations.

  • Own the development and maintenance of standard ways of working that can be applied to multiple engagements by team members, applicable to multiple markets across EMEA.

  • Enable client relationship development towards life time partnerships

  • Develop and grow executive and senior management level relationships with GE Healthcare clients to build our reputation as a trusted advisor and high quality partner

  • Develop and grow relationships with the wider GE Healthcare modalities to enable a OneGE approach to the client

  • Support the development of value propositions for performance optimization and pathway delivery

  • Work with the wider Partnerships & Solutions team to develop value propositions. Support in pre-sales and sales activities to ensure business volume growth in alignment with CP&ES teams targets

Qualifications and experience

  • Demonstrated project management skills to lead, plan and execute with quality, on time and on budget.

  • Demonstrated experience in Change Management tools and Process Improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, ToC etc..)

  • Proactively identify client needs and assist in developing solutions, which includes identifying business development/upsell opportunities with the client.

  • Establish credibility and develop relationships with mid-level and executive client managers.

  • Lead the engagement team to include coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to achieve client satisfaction and personal professional development.

  • Demonstrate expertise in multiple solution areas and practices.

  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations

  • Ability to adjust work and communication style based on situational needs

  • Language skills – English essential (Business level) plus at least one other. Preference European (Spanish, German, Italian, Eastern Europe) and Arabic.

  • Mobility essential across EMEA region

  • Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in either advisory services or performance improvement in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong awareness and understanding of the healthcare industry and major trends in the geography in which client projects are delivered.

  • Demonstrated data mining and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking to include the evaluation of ideas and synthesizing of information into insights.

  • Proven ability to accomplish large volume of high-quality work under pressure.
