Role Summary:

Working as part of a Central European sales team, the inside sales engineer is responsible for inside sales support to existing and potential customer, field sales organization, including preparation of commercial proposals, driving commercial activities including preparation of commercial actions, cold calling activities, lead follow up, quotation follow-up and other external focused activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for the management of his own pipeline of Leads, Opportunities and activities.

  • Act as the in-house remote contact for customers in the Central European Organization with focus of Benelux

  • Work together with Field Sales team to fulfill Customers’ Requests for Quotations, Technical and Commercial Queries

  • Pro-actively track customer opportunities to close, including quote follow up and pricing/terms negotiations

  • Manage activities and report status of Quotes and Leads in Deal Machine sales management tool

  • Manage and Report Key Customer and Contact data in Deal Machine for marketing purposes

  • Organize and drive special promotions in close co-operation with Marketing and Sales including direct mailings, Customer events and Exhibitions

  • Work with cross-functional groups including Sales, Applications Engineering, Customer Care, Operations and Commercial Operations to fulfill customer requests timely

  • Provide technical support for standard GE SENSING (Pressure, Flow, Gas&Moisture) products

  • Team with Sales to meet business objectives

  • Travel to customer sites may be required

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Technical Education level and/or equivalent knowledge, working experience

  • Dutch, German and English language skills (written and oral)

  • Experience with the most common business computer software including MS Office, Deal Machine, SFDC and preferably SAP

  • Relevant working experience in instrumentation or similar type of industry branch

  • Basic level in relevant product line technologies such as pressure, pressure calibration technology, Flow and Gas Analyzer technology
