Job Description Summary
As Senior Experience Strategist you will apply your innovative, strategic, empathetic and creative skills as well as your experience design capabilities to identify and conceptualize opportunities for our portfolio in order to seamlessly support our customers’ needs and workflows. You will design and explore human-centered innovations for GE Healthcare. You will lead the experience design for highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge in several business domains. With this, you will help build the future of Healthcare and advance human health.

Proactively analyze and understand the unmet needs of users and customers
Proactively stay on top regarding new UX technologies and diverse design approaches and evaluate their usefulness for Healthcare
Proactively keep a deep understanding of Healthcare trends, markets, focal areas of medical societies, etc. to be able to anticipate future trends, conceptualize solutions for them, and drive their realization across our businesses
create intuitive, effective, coherent and delightful information architectures and design concepts (including both, SW+HW) in order to seamlessly support our customers’ future practice, workflows, and care paths
collaborate with other members of the design organization as well as with project and business stakeholders and customers to deliver best-in-class strategic experience design concepts balancing user, business, and technical requirements applying a human-centered and portfolio perspective
Apply our design system and contribute to building it further
Serving as a thought leader and consulting resource for strategic experience design and human-centered innovations
Lead and influence business-wide discussions and decisions relative to experience design for current projects and the future direction of experience design.
Graduation or post-graduation in design, psychology or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) or related field
Minimum 15 years of experience design on a strategic level, ideally spanning SW+HW solutions
Track record of human-centered innovations and inventions/patents with great customer feedback
Experience with different design approaches
Trained in design thinking
Experience in Healthcare /medical devices desired.
Experience with innovation strategies, tools, and processes
Skilled in workflow analysis, mapping, and design
Skilled in diverse design, prototyping, and wireframing tools, visual communication
Good understanding of Agile / Lean methodologies
Ability to explain the essence of insights and concepts with confidence and clarity
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, change orientation
Demonstrated customer focus, empathy, creativity, and humor
Strong level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
